Tuesday 17th April
We recorded some practise footage. We got some background sound to make the audio seem more like the listener is there. We then recorded some practise voice clips with our interviewer, Kris, will be asking. The recording went well, had no background sound or wind interference.

Today I recorded some draft footage for the News team. I read out the draft script below. We used a condenser microphone, connected to a recording device. We uploaded the files and edited them to use as a draft clip.

Today I recorded some draft footage for the News team. I read out the draft script below. We used a condenser microphone, connected to a recording device. We uploaded the files and edited them to use as a draft clip.
We then planned the questions we were going to ask to interview people. Every time we asked people, we had to change our questions to fit the news' themes and topics:

A)
Running Order
B)
DJs/Presenters
C)
Content
For the target audience, the content of this radio show is almost perfect. The presenters are fun and can improvise on the spot, but they are still easy to understand and they get straight to the point when talking about the news or weather. This mixture of presenting styles will appeal to a wide range of people. The show itself is a breakfast show, and so the slightly relaxed, more entertaining aspects are needed to help ease the audience into the show when they've just woken up, and the news headlines need to avoid any waffling and get straight to the important parts in order to maintain the attention of the early morning audience. The traffic news specifically is fast and concise, allowing anyone who is on their drive to work a quick and simple insight into any important traffic news ahead of them. These aspects all work in conjunction to make this show more than suitable for the target audience.
